The punting cryptographers

The Punting Cryptographers
Spent the latter part of last week at the Privacy Enhancing Technologies workshop in Cambridge. As always, researchers presented all sorts of thought-provoking technology that would enable privacy-friendly security checks (like no-fly lists). Now, how do we create the political pressure to force their deployment?

The assembled cryptographers spent Saturday afternoon punting from Cambridge to Grantchester consuming strawberries and cream. It helped to have the best weather of the year so far. So we have a new club, to go with the dining cryptographers and the drinking cryptographers :)
