By passing the baton to CSC with indecent haste, the government has missed a golden opportunity to think again and to give more control to hospitals locally. I feel very sorry for hospitals who will have to put up with more delays and with systems that just don't work properly.

New NHS contractor having huge problems
Computer Sciences Corporation last week took over from Accenture £2bn of work on the NHS Connecting for Health systems. Now the Observer has found that CSC have installed administrative systems in only 8 of 32 hospitals they had promised to deliver by April this year — and no clinical systems whatsoever.
